30 Items...dunh dunh duh

So I am realizing the 30 for 30 is very difficult, cause I really only have like 30 items of clothing. Perfect right?? No....

I need to buy new clothes. I need more than 2 pair of work pants. So, I apologize for the bad lightning and say hello to my cute little pink cardi.

Pregaming the Superbowl

Boots? Check. Jeans? Check. Button-down shirt? Check. Big hair? Check.

Once I got it all down, I was ready to go party Texas style. I spent Saturday evening pre-pre-gaming for the Superbowl in downtown Fort Worth. I followed that by eating pizza with my honey. And some good old MMA, please tell me someone else loves Silva as much as me?? Come on. I know you do.

Neutral Mania

It is still freezing here, so another day working from the house. Do you hear the hurt in my voice?? (No!?? well I tried) I wanted my cat to go outside but he was having NO part of that idea. I'm pretty sure he actually ran up me. 

I had an idea for today's outfit, well I had an idea for the bottom. I started with grey tights, added some white socks with the necessary boots, and thought uh oh what next. I decided to try mixing some more neutrals hence the black dress and tan jacket. 

I'm loving that I am being forced to think outside the box, and even more that I'm liking some of the results!

At Least Jersey Shore is on Tonight...

Day 3, dun dun DUNNNNNN. Back to work, yuck. My hair started cute. Seriously it did... ok it was kinda cute at least.  But, multiple hat on/hat off bouts left my poor hair pitiful looking.

I like the casual shirt with the cardigan look. My favorite blue t-shirt goes with anything...

Going back to work broke my heart a little, but Jersey Shore makes me smile...

The Day of 2's

Day 2 of the 30 of 30 remix. I didn't get as many images to show my top/tops. Trying to be inventive is already a fun challenge. Flowers under a long tank top, why not? My poor shoes are really cute, but they are not designed for this random Texas winter freeze.

Day 2 of working from home. I am loving these days working at home! Back to the office tomorrow though, boo!

Brr....It's Cold Outside

Brrrrrrrrrrr... I am in Texas and it is 2 degrees with windchill!!! Friday, it was in the 70s. The weather here is too crazy. Oh well, I got to spend the day at home working.

Starting the 30 for 30 challenge... and wow I need more clothes. I went on a huge purge awhile back to get rid of any lingering college outfits, and now I am out of cute clothes. In 30 days, I am going on a huge shopping expedition.

2010 Wild Events

2010 was one of the wildest years of my life. Below are the absolute craziest things that happened in my life this year.

1. & 2. Getting two incurable illness in the same year. Hello SIX months of mono.

3. Finally getting to be Aunt Kimy aka the Only Aunt on Either Side and the Aunt that Brags to Absolutely Anyone how her Nephew is the Smartest, Most Handsome Baby in the World, ever.

4. Finding someone who cares about me enough to let me do this: (Note it was Halloween)

5. Rediscovering my insane passion for make-up.... such great purchases in 2010

** Note** Joking aside- this was the craziest thing that has ever happened to me. And, I am completely fine- that left dimple finally popped back out!

Current Crush- Cream Blush

Hands down! The discovery of the year goes to cream blushes. My favorites are the Stila Convertible Colors as shown above in Petunia and Gerbera. My latest obsession has been nude tones with a hint of orange. The Gerbera fits the bill nicely and can be built up to a nice coral/orange flush or worn subtly.

It is safe to say I am in LOVE.

Shhhh... It is Confession Time

I sit down on the floor in the bathroom at work just to read blogs or play games on my phone.

When the creepy IT guy that was SUPER rude to me last week asked who was wearing new perfume, I lied and said not me. And maybe I wore it again the next day. I said maybe!


I told the lady at the gas station her outfit was cute. It wasn't but she looked like she needed a smile.

I really do think my cat talks to me sometimes.

I use an exuberant amount of internet on my phone. Thank goodness it is still unlimited!

I use google as my spell check.
